“Perched at the top of Tortola, St. Bernard’s Hill House is a crown jewel in the Caribbean that needs to be seen to experience the world class comfort it offers. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking 320-degree views of the azure waters, neighboring islands, and a sunset that left me speechless. I attended a reception here after spending a week cruising around the Caribbean and I was absolutely blown away by how stunning this property is. Every detail here, from the furniture to the art work, has been thoughtfully considered in order to offer the highest level of comfort and service. Chef Al made a range of different foods that were all delicious and unique, accompanied by a rum tasting. There are so many wonderful photo opportunities here but those do not capture the awestruck feeling I was left with. I hope to be able to return one day.”

“Just got back from a little more than a week at St.Bernard’s Hill House. We were in town for the BVI Spring Regatta. Can’t say enough about the property and the team. Over 300 degree views of the most epic scenery and natural beauty that is Tortola and surrounding islands. If we hadn’t had to go racing, I’m not sure how often we would have gotten off the property as it offers everything you need for a magical and relaxing vacation. The trips we did make were to Smugglers Cove, Nanny Cay and Sopers Hole. All very easy and fun outings. Frasier and Jane manage a dedicated team of professionals that went out of their way to ensure our happiness from start to finish! Can’t say enough about it all…can’t wait to get back.”

“The house is beautiful. The views from the house are beautiful. The entire experience is beautiful, especially having late afternoon, cocktails in the Infiniti pool overlooking little islands. Lydia, Lisa and Frasier (manager) are sincerely lovely people and do whatever it takes to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.”

“I rate my experience as OUTSTANDING 5-Star.  SBHH was a full-service vacation paradise; the view from my villa was a breathtaking view from every direction.  The staff was superior from the concierge, housekeeping, to the driver who gave individualized care and attention to ensure our experience was comfortable and pleasant.  The chef was phenomenal, twice daily meals were prepared fresh to order to our preference. The house was decorated with gorgeous interiors.  A beautiful saltwater pool to keep you cool. I stayed in Palm Villa; it felt like a getaway all on its own. This intimate getaway was a whimsical experience!”

“My recent holiday at St. Bernard’s Hill House was absolutely incredible. I felt truly taken care of from the moment I walked in and was greeted with a refreshing cocktail to our departure. The staff was extremely attentive including an amazing chef that was able to accommodate our group which had quite a variety of dietary needs.

I was impressed with the stunning 360 views of the island that truly captivated all of us from our individual villas. I would have been happy to spend all day simply relaxing on the gorgeous grounds and dipping in the infinity pool, but was very thankful for lots of great suggestions of where to go ranging from local restaurants, historical tours of the island, as well as boating tours of the greater BVI curated with the absolute best guides. Can’t say enough about this gem in Tortola, our group felt like we experienced a brief moment of Heaven on earth”

“The Saint Bernard’s Hill House was the best vacation experience EVER!! Breathtaking upon arrival. From the landscape, 360 view, infinity pool. Staff was friendly, helpful, efficient and went above and beyond to make certain they met every need we had. The room, bedding and linens were amazing. Had the opportunity to tour the entire Island. Felt safe and truly appreciated the pride the locals shared when speaking about the history of the Island. The owners have truly poured love into this property and we’re so grateful we chose SBHH. “I already miss the Caribbean warmth and sunshine.This morning it got down to 22 here in Charlotte. That’s cold! Just want to say what an absolute fabulous vacation we all had at St. Bernards Hill. You and all of the entire staff were perfect.You were all very professional, courteous, kind,warm, friendly, and always attentive to all of our needs. The house was on a beautiful mountain top with so many spectacular unforgettable views in all so many directions. Absolutely breathtaking! The staff kept the house and our bedrooms and bathrooms so very clean and tidy every day. The house was always clean. We all enjoyed the fresh flower arrangements throughout the house. The food was fabulous. What a lot of different variety at each and every meal. I definitely can say I didn’t miss a meal – just look at my physique ! Haha. My trainer whipped my butt last evening. I actually got some excercise in on Sunday afternoon. I have my work cut out for me the next few weeks to get rid of all Wendy’s deserts. It was so nice sitting at a different table setting at each and every meal. The lady’s were quite creative with their napkin folding and center piece themes. Always different and tastefully done. It was wonderful to enjoy the pool parties every afternoon and especially when we had the live entertainment. The lady’s always made sure we didn’t go thirsty either. Never once did I have to wait for a cocktail.

Wow- the morning champagne was the way to start the day off. Chris thanks so very much for taking us on the boat /island tours every day. I have so many memorable thoughts of our days on the beaches. The snorkeling was so much fun too. I would like to do that again. And No sharks !, haha. Only an octopus! And the lunches at the little island beach restaurants was fun. Well- just want to say thanks. And thanks for organizing Wayne/akeel to taxi us around. Their service is perfect. Always on time and willing to be on my schedule. I had a super vacation. Hope you are able to get a little break from vacationers. I know how hard you and the staff worked,and it did not go unnoticed. Perhaps some day I will return, but if not know I am pleased. “SBHH Concierge service communication with me was outstanding from the time of booking until my departure. There were clear instructions provided from my arrival in St. Thomas with the land and water taxis service, driver who met us at the marina, to the on-site staff that included the chef, housekeeper and gardener everyone worked in unison. Everyone we met were friendly, courteous and interested in finding out where we were coming from, but more importantly sharing information about their beautiful island.

On arriving at SBHH, I was blown away by the magnificent gardens the open doors of SBHH main house felt like the lavish red carpet was rolled out before us. The elegant yet inviting decor was coordinated throughout the estate. The aesthetic elements built-off one another creating a luxurious atmosphere that was serene and exciting all at once. Touring the main house with a 360-degree view of the island, gardens, patio, and heated salt-water infinity pool which were filled with little surprises wherever you looked reinforced the reasons for our visit to relax, recharge and reset. At conclusion of the tour we were greeted with delicious canapés accompanied by the SBHH signature cocktail, compliments of the incredible chef, and a personal water bottle was a welcoming, I will never forget.

Each villa aesthetically decorated as an exquisite extension of the main house receiving the same level of detailed only differing with your own secluded view of the ocean. The bright beautiful room was expertly decorated accompanied by fragrant fresh flowers, sumptuous linens, luxurious toiletries featuring Molton Brown hand wash, shampoo, conditioner, shower gels and lotions felt self-indulgent. All the luxuries of home with a comfy bathrobe hanging in the well-designed closet with more than adequate space for suitcases, folding and hanging garments. The room also featured a well-stocked refrigerator with fresh water to refill your water bottle, as well as Nespresso maker to enjoy coffee at your leisure. The comfortable bed and temperature-controlled space was a joy to return too at the conclusion of a day.

The on-site staff which included the chef, housekeeper, gardener and driver were courteous, gracious and hardworking. Each morning and most evenings the chef took care to create incredible 4-star meals where his creativity and skill came through. The housekeeper was like a stealth ninja, we would leave for breakfast only to return to the room as we found on the day of arrival. The beautifully manicured gardens, grounds, gym, pool is expertly maintained with nothing out of place. The driver arrived before the scheduled activity was patient and gracious and filled with tidbits about the island. The well-coordinated activities from yoga, to the amazing land and water excursions filled with a detailed history of Tortola and the British Virgin Islands was a phenomenal history lesson. I was so very impressed by the excursion staff and of their knowledge and pride in their country.

Thank you to management, the Concierge and on-site staff for a truly unforgettable experience. I have never felt so cared for and pampered in all my life. SBHH is truly something special; I can’t wait for my next visit.”

The dinners were by far the best we had on the island. We very much look forward to re- upping same time this year, if it can be worked out. Since I’m a workout nut, my only suggestion would be to add a concept 2 rowing machine and a spin bike to the workout room, otherwise, things are perfect the way they are. Thanks again to both of you. You guys made the vacation complete for our family.”
